What is Te Whare Tapa Whā:
Te Whare Tapa Whā is a whare made up of all there areas of your mental and emotional health.
There are 5 areas Taha Wairua(Spiritual), Taha Tinana(Physical), Taha Whanau(Family/Social),
Taha Hinengaro(Mental and Emotional)and Whenua(Roots).

How can you take care of your hauora and others:
You can take care of your hauora in many different ways but the main ways are eating healthy
food as well as drinking lots of water, getting a good sleep and staying true to yourself.
You can help other stake care of their hauora by incouraging them, listning to them and
helping them to take care of their mental health.

What does being assertive mean:
Being assertive means not letting over people walk over you and communicating your feelings
to thers so they know how you feel.

Why is it important that you take care of all areas of hauora:
It is very important to take care of all areas of our hauora because if we fail to look after
one the rest will crumble because they are like a house you need all four to function and live
life to the fullest.

What Hauora Means To Me:                                                                                                                                                                     To me hauora means to take care of your self and mentally and emotionally. It means having control over your life in a good way to; To be confident and proud of who you are.

Favourite Activity:                                                                                                                                                                                         My favourite activity so far has been Taha Tinana and going outside to play duck duck goose and the paper scissors rock game.

What Taha… do you most understand:                                                                                                                                             I understand Taha Tinana the most because it is physical based and I am very familiar with sport and physical well being like good sleep and good food
